Position Overview
AMM Recruiting is assisting a well-established law firm in seeking a litigation attorney for its Las Vegas, Nevada office! The successful candidate will represent policyholders and insured clients in civil litigation matters, primarily involving personal injury and other insurance-related claims, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and insurance regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct thorough legal research to support defense strategies.
- Independently develop and execute defense strategies, including drafting pleadings, managing written discovery, conducting and defending depositions, and preparing motions and briefs.
- Provide timely, accurate legal advice and maintain clear communication with clients regarding case strategy, status, and legal issues.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for trial.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of insurance defense or related civil litigation experience.
- Strong legal writing and research abilities, solid understanding of litigation procedures, and proficiency with standard office and legal software.
